- Walking Boot
The cam or walking boot is a mainstay of treatment for many foot and ankle injuries. Aircast makes a pretty decent walker boot and the air bladder system seems to help with comfort and swelling. The elite is probably overkill for most situations, so save your money and get either the short or standard depending on your injury.

- Cast/Post-Op Shoe
A rigid sole shoe is a reasonable treatment option for many foot injuries that do not require immobilization of the ankle.
If you get rad, eventually you will probably need some crutches. We have a couple loaner pairs in the office. If we are out or you want your own, you can check the local thrift stores (humane society or the methodist store on 2nd downtown). Sometimes City Market has them for rent.
